Expanding on the architecture of Sample Logic’s breakthrough atmosphere instrument, XOSPHERE, INFINITY provides revolutionary tools to simultaneously morph up to 8 unique “sound sources” running through 4 “soundcores”.

At the heart of this is Sample Logic’s newest invention, the “3D Mixer”, which allows for seamless morphing between the 4 soundcores intuitively. Incorporating Sample Logic’s most impressive innovations to date, the Step Animator and the Morph Animator, INFINITY’S new user interface is Sample Logic’s most progressive design yet. CINEMATIC GUITARS 1

It all began in 2010 when Sample Logic teamed up world famous Guitar Hero series guitarist and composer Steve Ouimette to record a wide spectrum of guitars including steel, nylon, and electric, and a variety of other rare stringed instruments in new and creative ways. This resulted in Sample Logic’s first CINEMATIC GUITARS sample library. With its extensive and creative sampling, along with its core effect sequencers, CG proved to be an astounding collection of morphed, unconventional guitar atmospheres, instrumentals, and percussives unlike any ever heard before.

CINEMATIC GUITARS 2

By popular demand in 2012, Sample Logic upped the ante, partnering with Steve once again to create CINEMATIC GUITARS 2. With the bar set so high by CG1, these trailblazers went back to the fundamentals of psychoacoustic sampling where they re-conceived and invented new and clever ways of capturing unique sounds, derived entirely from real guitars. Where CG1 focused on morphing guitars into versatile organic virtual instruments of all sorts, CG2 explored the dark and twisted side of the guitar world that included more unique and rare guitars as well as the total physical destruction and mutilation of acoustic guitars and amps. Along with this came the introduction of new user interface controls, Trigger FX and Multi Script Macros, making CG2 an even more powerful creative tool than CG1.
