Apollo 2: Cinematic Guitars is the highly anticipated sequel to our best-selling virtual instrument! We took the most loved features of the original Apollo and incorporated them into a fully redesigned interface with all brand-new samples. The end result is the new gold standard for cinematic, ambient, post-rock, and sound design productions! Recorded with top-of-the-line amps, guitars, and pedals, there is nearly 36GB of meticulously recorded shimmering swells, fuzzy drones, playful licks, and 63 chromatically sampled instruments! With unprecedented power and simplicity, Apollo 2 provides you with the tools to score your dreams.

THE AMBIENT DESIGNER
The new Ambient Designer patch gives users the power to layer a chorus of guitars, arrange on the fly, effortlessly change pitch, and even switch from major to minor with the simple press of a key. These performances consist of phrases, plucks, swells, bows, pads, white noise, tonal and atonal guitar fx, and so much more! You can utilize the new five-engine layout of Apollo 2 to quickly create interesting guitar atmospheres and performances!

THE INSTRUMENTS
Apollo 2 comes with over 60 chromatically sampled guitars taken directly from the Ambient Designer guitar tones! Use the instruments to create soaring original melodies and pair them with the beautiful phrases and sounds of the Ambient Designer for a lush chorus of guitars. Layer up to five separate guitars at once to create deep and immersive sounds, or play them all independently. We recorded every guitar with three customizable dynamic layers for total expressive control. Push the capabilities of a traditional guitar by using the powerful legato, pad, and step-sequencer features, and so much more!

GO BEYOND 6 STRINGS
Apollo 2 features a host of powerful sound-shaping tools, including 9 LFO and 6 step sequencer FXs that can be applied to each engine to add subtle movement or complex rhythmic effects. Mold each sound using custom AHDSRs and apply legato for incredible lead lines. Reverse and change the playback speed of any performance to completely transform Apollo 2’s guitars into something otherworldly!

PROFESSIONALLY DESIGNED PRESETS
We worked with industry-leading professionals to create over 220 snapshots, serving as inspirational starting points or as quick grab-and-go sounds to speed your productions along. The presets for the Ambient Designer and Instrument patches are organized into helpful categories such as swells, plucked, motion, sound design, hybrid, and more for easily getting to the sounds you’re looking for!
